Hey Mr. Riley
You came to my school last year in and played with my jazz ensemble. I recently purchased your books and dvd and I wanted to thank you for challenging me and inspiring me to take my playing to the next level. I will be moving to NYC in a year and I will make sure to come visit you at the Village Vanguard. |

It was a great pleasure to finally pay a visit to the Village Vanguard and hear you play with the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra on my recent trip to New York. I sent Darryl Pellegrini a note and he wrote how you recommended him for Woody Herman's gig, etc. All the best! |
