Hello John,
I've been watching you play drums for years and I got to say that you have very good hands, I mean your left hand seems to be very strong for a right handed drummer. I was wondering if you're a left handed person playing on right handed drums set?
Thanks,
Martin |

Hi John, thank you for dedicating your life to drums, and sharing your knowledge and experiences with us. Your books are incredibly helpful. I've been playing drums for 15+ years but have recently stopped gigging so I can spend some serious time improving the fundamentals of my mechanics and technique. I live 20 miles north of Boston, MA and am looking for a teacher that can help me improve my technique with a more relaxed & natural approach. Do you have any recommendations for anyone in my area? Thank you for your time. |

Hi john, I am curious about the way you tune your drums in a Jazz setting. Do you tune them to a certain note or just where you think they sound good? Thanks so much! |
